Tomas Hvamb is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Havn Capital, a Norwegian-based private equity firm focused on advancing Europe’s decarbonisation. With over 17 years of experience in energy finance, Tomas is committed to fostering sustainable investments that deliver both environmental impact and financial returns.
 

Prior to founding Havn Capital, Tomas was a Senior Partner at EV Private Equity, where he guided portfolio companies on growth strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and exit planning. Earlier in his career, he worked at Barclays in the UK and DNB in Norway, specialising in energy finance and sponsor-backed transactions across various sectors and geographies.
 

Tomas holds an Executive MBA in Energy Management from BI Norwegian Business School, with international study components in Singapore and Paris. He earned his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor in Applied Finance, from Macquarie University. Outside of his professional pursuits, Tomas is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys padel, skiing, and golf, as well as spending quality time with his two children.
